This ride offers over 1,000m of descent, starting in alpine tussocks, weaving through ancient forests, and finishing at the Wānaka lakefront. Expect technical terrain featuring roots, tight turns, and more challenging trail conditions for an unforgettable adventure.

Mountain Bike. Full-Suspension is required. E-bikes are allowed.

Personal protection equipment if required (elbow pads, knee pads, gloves)

Nothing can be left in the helicopter. Come ready to ride, with a backpack if necessary.
GoPros and phones can be great to capture the day. Selfie sticks and drones are not allowed.
Try and be as compact as you can. We provide everything else you need for the day so try to fit your items in a small backpack.
If you do not have a bike and would like to rent, please let us know at the time of the booking and we can help you liaise with a rental store in Wanaka.
