The Southern Lakes Ultimate showcases the best of the region within a day.
Beginning at the Wanaka Airport, lift off for an epic helibiking experience conquoring three varried trails. Anticipate scenic mountain tops, varied tracks, and an epic backcountry adventure.
When it comes to mountain biking in New Zealand, the Southern Lakes Ultimate is the cream of the crop delivering scenery, dynamic trails and a delicious mountain lunch.

Mountain Bike. Full-Suspension is required. E-bikes are allowed.
Rain/wind jacket
Water bottle
Helmets are mandatory
Personal protection equipment if required (elbow pads, knee pads, gloves)
Sunglasses or goggles
Sunscreen
Nothing can be left in the helicopter. Come ready to ride, with a backpack if necessary.
GoPros and phones can be great to capture the day. Selfie sticks and drones are not allowed.
Try and be as compact as you can. We provide everything else you need for the day so try to fit your items in a small backpack.
If you do not have a bike and would like to rent, please let us know at the time of the booking and we can help you liaise with a rental store in Wanaka.
