What To Expect on Your Helibike Day
A Typical Day
WEATHER CALL
After a morning meeting your guide will call and provide a timeline for the day along with your meeting location.
STAGING
At the staging area, you will meet your group. Groups are determined based on your ability and of course, taking into account groups of friends and families. Not sure what your ability level is? Take our ability quiz.
Safety is our number one priority. Your guide will discuss the plan for the day and teach you all you need to know about your equipment to ensure your safety in the mountains. They will also teach you about safety around helicopters.
LIFT OFF
After lifting to your drop point for the day, your guide will lead you on your memorable New Zealand adventure. Half-way through your trip, you will stop for snacks & refreshments (half day) or your picnic lunch (full day) before continuing on. You’ll enjoy incredible downhill single tracks or scenic lakeside traverses depending on your ability level.
At the end of your trip, you will be transferred back to your staging location by boat, or you can upgrade with an additional scenic flight back to your staging location.
